Ecocity Evaluator Users, Part III: University Teacher
Thomas is teaching urban planning at the University of Knowledge. He wants to show his students how urban planning choices can affect greenhouse gas emissions but he has no practical way to do it. What can Thomas do? No worries, help is on the way! Ecocity Evaluator is a great tool for teaching purposes. With it students can try themselves how to reduce emissions with careful planning. Can teaching and learning really be this easy and fun?
Evaluator is the perfect tool to view and learn the different aspects and costs of urban planning and living choices. It’s possible to create numerous different scenarios of your urban plans and compare them with your own plans or with somebody else’s plans. This way it is easy to see what effects buildings, infrastructure, energy, transport, consumer profiles and land use changes have on emissions and costs of urban plans.
